DONE WATCH- I was surprised to see that the City Council is attempting to reinstate funding to have the online voting platform built out for the 62 neighborhood councils that did not do online in 2016.
While I am a believer in online voting, I question whether Everyone Counts should still be the vendor.
I also have asked a couple of City Council Members to get me information on what and when payments were made to Everyone Counts and from what pool of funds did those payments come from? Additionally, were the payments part of the contract, or an add-on for future buildouts?
I would urge the City Council to wait for the answers before approving the funding.
